My kids call the car I drive the Noobie van. They call it this because it's a minivan with Noobie vinyl decals on the back side windows. The are yoo a noobie? question spelled out on my minivan has always drawn lots of attention in parking lots, drive-thrus and even while tailgating at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Complete strangers have no problem approaching me to ask me what a noobie is. And I'm more than happy to explain it to them. *wink* A few days ago, I had to take the Noobie van back to my good friend…

I rented a movie from Blockbuster over the weekend. While I was browsing the rental shelves I became annoyed at all of the extraneous stuff that Blockbuster now sells. Today is a special day for me. It's my birthday. Thought everyone might enjoy hearing how many ways there are to wish a techie happy birthday. It's knowing when the mail has been delivered without having to walk down the driveway to the mailbox to check. Call me lazy but I hate wasted trips only to find out the mail…
